An example is the geographic location of our production facilities and terminals, providing effective cost delivery options. To date, Graymont owns and operates 14 production facilities and over 19 terminals in North America (Locations).
This same network of plants and terminals provides redundancy which minimizes the potential risk of inventory shortages. This is critical when responding to the emergency demands of our customers. Through years of hard work, expansion and acquisition, Graymont is positioned as an industry leader in low-cost production and distribution of lime-based products.
Another aspect of our delivery logistics is ensuring safe handling and transportation of the products that we produce. This includes coordinating the correct equipment with the particular product being shipped while also assisting customers with an understanding of effective storage and handling options. At the same time, Graymont is always seeking new shipment and packaging alternatives that will provide savings to our customers.
